What could be better than a trip to Prague and to Budapest in the fall?

A trip to Prague and to Budapest in the fall with the Igorot Austria-Cordillera!

The weekend getaway to Prague last October 20 and 21 was a perfect treat! Donned in our traditional clothes, we were immersed in the beauty and enchanting history of the so-called City of Spires: the Prague Castle, the St. Vitus, the Charles University, the Charles Bridge, the Old Town Square and more.

As we headed back home, Mrs. Linda Cabigon Gazmen put it in a nutshell: "My family joined expecting a fun and informative overnight trip and we got a whole lot more! There was laughter throughout the trip and I feel that this single activity has done a lot in promoting family and community bonding!"

The day trip to Budapest last November 3 was another excursion enjoyed by all. Through the combined bus and walking tours, we got a glimpse of the heart and culture of the people. We were all so impressed by the panorama and all the attractions this Danube city has to offer – the Castle District, the Matthias Church, the Fisherman’s Bastion, the largest Synagogue of Europe and the City Park, the neo-gothic House of Parliament and the Opera House, St. Stephen’s Basilica, just to name a few.

Asked what she had to say about the trip, Glory Fe Alad-ad Würzl responded: "Great city! Great itinerary! Great company!"

Everybody became excited when Igorot Austria - Cordillera Chairman, Leonida Ostermayer-Lunag announced: "We will look into making excursions a regular event".

A big thank you to each and everyone who joined for making the excursions such a successful and informative bonding experience. Special thanks to Cristabel Bounggick for her efforts in planning and coordinating the excursions.
